They should have hired a competent Owner's Rep firm.

What is wrong with this picture?  A competent Owner's Rep firm would have caught this mistake on the drawings.  Don't think of an Owner Representative firm as an added cost, think of it as a savings.  Saving you time, money and headaches.

2010 Rewired For Autism Golf Outing

The Rockaway Hunting Club was the site for the 2010 Rewired for Autism Charity Golf Outing. It was a great day for golf with a bright blue sky. The golf outing was well attended with over 100 golfers from the A/E/C Industries. Tel-Networks, TLM Group, TM Technology Partners, Genesis Flooring, H.O.Penn, and Mantis Marketing were the major sponsors and committee members.

The tournament was played by golfers of all skills and levels. Bob Faulkner of Genesis Flooring was sporting a new set of golf clubs that were a gift from his wife. Bob played a great game, and he continued to thank his wife all day as the clubs greatly improved his game. "I'd hate to see him playing with his old clubs," said a fellow golfer. When asked about the outing Bob had this to say, "It's great to be able to take time out of our busy schedules and get together as an industry to play golf and raise money for a good cause." Another notable golfer was Zoe Hutzler of Mantis Marketing. Zoe played a great game and wowed her foursome with a classic swing. She almost won the 2011 Lincoln MKX, as her tee shot landed close to the Third pin.

After golf, players and attendees enjoyed dinner, cocktails, along with prizes and raffles. Michael Carron of TLM Group handed out the prizes for the best golfers and then he handed the microphone over to Eddie Boca. Eddie handed out the raffle prizes with a fair amount of humor. Raffle prizes included many items donated by local professional sports teams such as the NY Jets, NY Rangers, NY Islanders and NY Mets. Other donations came from Pirate's Booty, Omni Hotels, and South West Airlines to name a few. Barry Hirsch of REW Solar was a big winner, he walked away with a new Ipad Touch, and a set of golf clubs among other prizes. Ed Feinberg of JFK&M was another big winner he won a putter, a golf bag and many other prizes. We hope he shared his winnings with Cindy.

The real winners will be the autistic children and their families that will benefit from the golf outing. Committee member, Michael Carron says, "I have learned that Autism effects one in 100 children and their families. There is no cure. We are trying to raise awareness and make a difference in some small way. Rewired for Autism has raised well over $100,000 for autistic children." The money is donated to a few different charities. One of the charities is The Nassau Suffolk Chapter for the Autism Society of America. The NSASA was well represented at the golf outing with members organizing, volunteering and golfing. Susan Reek is the President of the NSASA and she put together many of the baskets.

The Rewired for Autism would like to thank all of the Golfers, and Volunteers who made the golf outing a great success. We also would like to send out a special thanks to our sponsors: Tel-Networks, TLM Group, TM Technology Partners, Genesis Flooring, H.O.Penn, and Mantis Marketing. Plans are already in the works for next years golf outing. The Committee has also been approached to organize a holiday party. We will keep you informed of our future events. We look forward to seeing all of you on the golf course for the Fourth Annual Rewired For Autism Charity Golf Outing.
